3 Years!

On Tuesday, September 6th, Matt and I celebrated 3 years of marriage!
I can't believe how fast the time has past! It really seems like just yesterday I was walking down the isle to my Marine waiting for me :)

Matt told me he wanted to make me a surprise dinner. I really had no idea what he would come up with, but he definitely surprised me! He came home with two fresh Lobster tails! It was actually his first time eating Lobster, and my 3rd.
He prepared them, and also some mashed potatoes and gravy, and yummy asparagus! I love being married to a man who can cook! (I didn't say clean LOL)
And, I made him a red velvet and cream cheese cake from scratch. It came out pretty good, especially the cream cheese frosting! :) Although both kids were still awake, we had a pretty romantic dinner at the table, just the two of us. We put Elly in the high chair with some cheerios and Ethan on the couch and turned on "Your Baby Can Read" lol!

We are having some friends of ours who live close by, watch the kids for us next weekend so we can go out to dinner for a date! Pretty excited! And, we are actually planning a weekend getaway for the end of the year! We are thinking about Naples, Florida. I hope it all works out b/c I think we so deserve to have some time to ourselves! ;)

Oh, and we are leaving to go to Ohio in 3 weeks! It'll be our first family trip! It is going to be so gorgeous on the farm at this time of the year! Elly will also get to finally meet her Great Great Mamaw (95) who is anxious to meet her and to get a new 5 generation picture :)
