Well, the last time I really gave an update on here was on Ethan's birthday...so I think it's due! :)
I'll start with the kids...
Ethan Poo:
He is 2 1/2 now and growing so fast! Not long until his 3rd birthday!! He is talking a lot now and repeating everything, which means we have to spell words and watch what we say haha ;) We can actually have conversations with him now! He definitely keeps us laughing with the silly things he says! He is 100% potty trained, too! Stopped using diapers completely about 4 months ago (right at Easter) and he only wore pull ups for bed time. He has been off pull ups for a week now with no accidents and wakes up to go potty! I am just so proud of him and so happy that he learned so early and quickly! He also likes to dress himself now and wants to do everything himself lol.
He always talks about how he misses his friends at Papaw's church and that he wants to go to school on the bus, so we are thinking about getting him into preschool or something so he can interact with other children. He is a very healthy and happy little boy who is very loved!
Elly B:
I started calling her that, and Elly Bell, because Ethan just calls her, "baby" but he says it so fast sometimes that it just sounds like, "B". :)
She is just growing like a weed! She just had her 9 month well check up and her pediatrician told me, "keep up the good work mom"! Always encouraging to hear that :) She is very healthy!! She is in the 75% for height and weight and 90% for her head haha!! She was always in the 90% for height and weight, so I'm glad she's getting more average now. She just started clapping last week and waving bye bye! She also said, "bye bye". She is so funny with Ethan, always trying to steal his snacks and crawl after him. I love watching them play and laugh together!
She is also a very good eater and I am so happy about that! She will eat basically anything we are eating. I have tried giving her a sippy, but she is not taking to it very well. I guess that's what I get for never giving my kids bottles lol. I just hope I can have her weaned by 12 months, unlike Ethan who I wasn't able to get him weaned until 14 1/2...
We are going to have our first separation tomorrow night, so I'm hoping she does well!
There really isn't much to update on Matt and myself lol. He is still working at Lockheed and I am still a SAHM. He just received his 4 year service stripe last month in the USMC and is hoping to promote within the next few months! Fingers crossed! We are going on our first date in almost a year tomorrow which we are very anxious about!! We are also planning a trip to Ohio next month to see my grandparents, so we are excited to take the kids to the farm! :)
